Who you are buying from

This shop is run by NIAH B.V., Korte Molenstraat 17A, 2513 BM The Hague, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce number 98627120. VAT number NL868575069B01. Email hello@niahmatcha.com. By placing an order you agree to the terms below.

Prices

All prices are shown in euro and include VAT. Shipping is added at checkout and shown to you before you pay. If a price is obviously wrong, a decimal point in the wrong place for example, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than ship at that price.

Your order

An order becomes a contract when you receive the confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil it, because a lot sold out between your order and our packing bench for example, we tell you and refund the full amount.

Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Your order is packed once the payment has cleared.

Cancelling

If you live in the European Union you have fourteen days from the day the order reaches you to cancel it, without giving a reason. Our refund policy explains how, and sets out the one exception, sealed food that has been opened.

About the product

Matcha is a natural product. Colour, aroma and taste shift from harvest to harvest. Photographs on this site show what the product generally looks like, not a guarantee of an exact shade. We state the origin, the harvest and the tasting note for every lot, so you know what you are buying.

Storage

Keep matcha closed, cool, dry and away from light and strong smells. The best before date is printed on the pack. Once opened it stays at its best for about a month.

Liability

We are responsible for delivering a product that matches its description. We are not responsible for indirect loss, and our liability is never more than the amount you paid for the order. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Dutch or European consumer law.

Complaints

Write to hello@niahmatcha.com. We answer within one working day and we aim to settle any complaint within fourteen days.

Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the court in The Hague, unless consumer law gives you the right to bring the matter before a court closer to home.
